Organised by Mercator Ocean International and Noveltis, the 2023 edition of Copernicus Marine Service Online Training Workshop is titled ‘Copernicus Marine Training Workshop for the Iberia-Biscay-Ireland Region’. This workshop will take place online over 3 sessions between 27th February and 22nd March 2023.
27th February 2023 – 10:00 am (CET) – Session 1: Copernicus Marine Service Introduction, Satellite, Model and In-situ products overview.
28th February 2023 – 09:00 am (CET) – Session 2: Practical Session: Jupyter Notebook tutorials, QGIS tutorials for beginners and advanced users
22nd March 2023 – 10:00 am (CET) – Session 3: Debrief on the practical session, three weeks after session 2.
The workshop is open to the public and aims to train new and existing Copernicus Marine Service users. A wide range of experts and users of marine products will attend for the purposes of networking and exchanging knowledge.
Sessions will explore the Copernicus Marine products catalogue, including expert talks, round table discussions, and interactive practical exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and engage in the improvement of the Copernicus Marine Service portfolio by communicating their needs and requirements.
